For the physical entry of new inventory into a warehouse, it is necessary to create a new Receive order in the system to begin having traceability of that new inventory.

Create a new Receive order
Criteria for creating a new Receive order:
- The user must have access to the account and the warehouse where the inventory will be received.
- The user must have the permission to create Receive orders enabled.
Steps to create a new Receive order:
- From the main menu, go to the Receive Orders.
- Click the Create button.
- In the Warehouse dropdown list, select or type the code of the warehouse where you will receive the inventory.
- In the Account dropdown list, select or type the abbreviation of the client or supplier of the inventory.
- To confirm the creation of the Receive order, you can:
- Enter additional data in the header-level fields. (To identify the order header, you can consult the article: Anatomy of a Receive order)
- Add the inventory you will receive in this order. (To learn how to add it, you can consult the article: Management of Receive order lines)
- Once the creation of the Receive order is confirmed, a unique receipt number will be assigned to it in the system and it will be in Open status.
Edit a Receive order
Criteria for editing a Receive order:
- The user must have access to the account and warehouse that were assigned to the Receive order.
- The user must have the permission to edit Receive orders enabled.
Steps to edit a Receive order:
- From the main menu, go to the Receive Orders.
- Find the Receive order you want to edit.
- In the Edit column, click the
button
. - Enter the new information required at the header level.
View a Receive order
When you need to consult the information of a Receive order and no edits will be made, you can enter in read-only mode by following the steps explained in this section.
Criteria for viewing a new Receive order:
- The user must have access to the account and warehouse that were assigned to the Receive order.
- The user must have the permission to view Receive orders enabled.
Steps to view a Receive order:
- From the main menu, go to the Receive Orders.
- Find the Receive order you want to view.
- In the Receive order column, click the number of the Receive order.
- With the previous step, the information registered in the Receive order will be displayed.
