For every physical or virtual warehouse designated to store products, and implicitly for all clients managed through similar processes, it must be uniquely identified with a code and name that your team will use to recognize each warehouse.

Create a new warehouse
Essential criteria:
- The user must have access to all warehouses registered in the account.
- The user must have the "Create Warehouses" permission enabled.
- The warehouse name or code must not already exist.
Steps to follow:
- From the system setup, navigate to the Warehouses menu.
- Click the Create button.
- Enter an abbreviation for the warehouse name in the Code field.
- Enter the warehouse name.
- Mark the warehouse as Enabled.
- Click Create.
Edit a warehouse
Essential criteria:
- The user must have access to the warehouse.
- The user must have the "Edit Warehouses" permission enabled.
Steps to follow:
- From the system setup, navigate to the Warehouses menu.
- Search for the warehouse you want to modify.
- In the Edit column, click the
button.
- Enter the new required information.
- Click
to save changes.
Disable a warehouse
If a warehouse has had inventory movements but will no longer be managed, you can disable it to hide it from your team. This assumes its inventory has been fully shipped or adjusted to zero.
Disabling a warehouse retains all historical inventory movements for traceability purposes.
Essential criteria:
- The user must have access to the warehouse.
- The user must have the "Edit Warehouses" permission enabled.
- The warehouse must have no locations with remaining inventory.
Steps to follow:
- From the system setup, navigate to the Warehouses menu.
- Search for the warehouse to disable.
- In the Edit column, click the
button.
- Uncheck the Enabled checkbox.
- Click Edit to save changes.
Re-enable a warehouse
If a previously disabled warehouse needs to be managed again, you can re-enable it instead of creating a new one. This preserves all historical inventory movements under the same warehouse.
Essential criteria:
- The user must have access to the warehouse.
- The user must have the "Edit Warehouses" permission enabled.
Steps to follow:
- From the system setup, navigate to the Warehouses menu.
- Search for the warehouse to re-enable.
- In the Edit column, click the
button.
- Check the Enabled checkbox.
- Click Edit to save changes.
Remove a warehouse
Only warehouses that have never held inventory can be removed. For those with existing inventory, you can disable them instead.
Essential criteria:
- The user must have access to all warehouses.
- The user must have the "Remove Warehouses" permission enabled.
Steps to follow:
- From the system setup, navigate to the Warehouses menu.
- Search for the warehouse to remove.
- In the Remove column, click the
button. This will open a dialog.
- Click the Remove button.
