Reference for the Data in the Part Number Creation/Editing CSV

To help you identify which information for a part number corresponds to the different data fields in the part number creation/editing CSV template, we present below the list of the different data fields in the template along with a brief description and the type of information it allows.

Mandatory data

This is the data necessary for the system to create or identify the different part numbers that will be added or edited with the template. The mandatory data for part numbers are as follows:

ACCOUNT_SHORTNAME	Abbreviation of the client or supplier that the part number will belong to	Any abbreviation of previously configured accounts
PARTNUMBER	Name of the new part number	Names that have not been previously configured.

DESCRIPTION	Part number description	Text less than 255 characters
UOM	Unit of measure	Length Piece Volume Weight
ReceivingDefaultPackage	The package in which the part number will usually be received	Any name of the previously configured packages
SHIPPINGDEFAULTPACKAGE	The package in which the part number will usually be shipped	Any name of the previously configured packages
MULTISERIAL	Indicates if all serials of your inventory will be scanned	Y: Yes N: No

Consider that if there are mandatory custom fields, their data will also be required to import the CSV correctly.

Additional data

Data that is not necessary for the creation or editing of part numbers but provides more information to each one when they are created. These are the additional data fields:

SCAN_PARTNUMBER_PREFIX	Prefix displayed on the part number labels	Text less than 255 characters
SCAN_QTY_PREFIX	Quantity prefix displayed on the part number labels	Text less than 255 characters
SCAN_QTY_REQUIRED	Indicates if the quantity prefix is mandatory	Y: Yes N: No

QTY_TO_PKG_MAPPING	Indicates the quantity of the part number that each package type will have; it is mainly used for billing purposes.	Any previously configured package type and its quantity. Example format: Pallet=10, Box=5
USE_CUSTOM_LABEL	Indicates if the client's labels will be used	Y: Yes N: No
INVENTORY_MANAGED_ BY_PARTNUMBER	Indicates if the part number will not be labeled	Y: Yes N: No

In addition to the data mentioned above, the template may have extra data depending on the custom fields that are configured and enabled at the time of downloading the template.
