Adjustment reasons are used to identify all the possible causes for which your teams may need to increase or decrease the inventory they are tracking or that they detect in the daily tasks of inventory management, for example, adjusting inventory that was found damaged.

Create an adjustment reason
Criteria for creating a new adjustment reason:
- The user must have the permission to create adjustment reasons enabled.
- The name of the adjustment reason must be unique in the catalog.
Steps to create an adjustment reason:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Adjustment Reasons.
- Click the Create button.
- Enter the name for the adjustment reason.
- Press Create.
Edit an adjustment reason
Criteria for editing an adjustment reason:
- The user must have the permission to edit adjustment reasons enabled.
Steps to edit an adjustment reason:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Adjustment Reasons.
- Find the adjustment reason you want to modify.
- In the Edit column, click the
button.
- Modify the adjustment information as needed.
- Press Edit to save the changes.
Delete an adjustment reason
Criteria for deleting an adjustment reason:
- The user must have the permission to delete adjustment reasons enabled.
- The adjustment reason has not been used in any negative or positive inventory adjustment order.
Steps to delete an adjustment reason:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Adjustment Reasons.
- Find the adjustment reason you want to delete.
- In the Delete column, click the
button.
- In the dialog that opens, click the Delete button.
