The carrier is the company that will move the inventory you send from your warehouse.

Create a carrier
Criteria for creating a new carrier:
- The user must have the permission to create carriers enabled.
- Its name and abbreviation must be unique in the catalog.
Steps to create a new carrier:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Carriers list.
- Click the Create Carrier button.
- Enter the carrier's name.
- Enter the abbreviation for the carrier.
- Press Create.
Edit a carrier
Criteria for editing a carrier:
- The user must have the permission to create carriers enabled.
- Its name and abbreviation must be unique in the system.
Steps to edit a carrier:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Carriers list.
- Find the carrier you want to edit.
- In the Edit column, click the
button.
- Modify the necessary information.
- Press
to save the changes.
Delete or hide a carrier
Criteria for deleting or hiding a carrier:
- The user must have the permission to delete carriers enabled.
- To delete it permanently, the carrier must not have been assigned to any shipping order.
When a carrier was assigned to previous shipments but will no longer be part of your operation, you can hide it using the same delete action. By doing so, it will no longer be listed for your collaborators in the different sections of the system where it can be assigned.
Steps to delete or hide a carrier:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Carriers list.
- Find the carrier you want to delete.
- In the Delete column, click the
button, this will open a new dialog.
- Click the Delete button.
- If the carrier was never assigned to a shipping order, it will be permanently deleted, showing the following message:
- If the carrier was assigned to a shipping order, the system will hide it to preserve the information history where it was assigned and will show the following message:

Reactivate a hidden carrier
Criteria for reactivating a carrier:
- The user must have the super-administrator permission enabled.
Steps to reactivate a carrier:
- From the Setup menu, go to the Carriers list.
- In the header of the Hidden column, select the Yes option in the dropdown list.
- Find the carrier you want to reactivate.
- In the Remove column, click the
button.
Once restored, it will be available again for your team to assign to a shipping order.
