Webhooks in Stock & Trace allow communicating information to another system when operational users perform some specific actions:
- Receive order received: When a specific Receive order is received.
- Shipping order shipped: When a specific Shipping order is shipped.
- Location change: When inventory has been transferred between warehouses.

Create a new webhook
Essential criteria:
- The external integrations and webhooks module must be enabled in your contracted plan (request it from the S&T team).
- The user must have super administrator access.
Steps to create a new webhook:
- From the Setup menu, go to the System and then to the Webhooks option.
- Click the Create webhook button.
- In Name, indicate the name of the platform to connect to and what action will be performed.
- Example: SAP: Transfers between warehouses.
- Check the Enabled box.
- Enter the URL to which Stock & Trace will communicate the information.
- In Description, indicate the purpose of this new connection in S&T.

- In the events section, enable the type of outbound message to activate.

- (Optional) In HTTP headers, indicate the headers that the external system requires to be communicated.
- Example: Authorization: XXXX.
- Press Save.
- With the above, a new field will be enabled with the Shared Secret.
- Copy the generated Shared Secret and share it with the technical team of the external system to be connected.
Edit a webhook
To stop the communication of information from Stock & Trace to a specific system, you can disable the corresponding webhook.
Essential criteria:
- The user must have super administrator access.
Steps to edit a webhook:
- From the Setup menu, go to the System and then to the Webhooks option.

Find the webhook you want to edit.
- Click the
button.
- Edit the necessary webhook information.
- Press Save.
Disable a webhook
To stop the communication of information from Stock & Trace to a specific system, you can disable the corresponding webhook.
